Christmas at the Co-op

Co-op Christmas bazaar This month we are celebrating Christmas at the Co-op, showing images of how Co-operative Societies prepared for the festive season. As well as photographs, there are examples of publications the Co-operative movement produced in the run up to Christmas, including war-time rationing recipes from the 1940s. Co-operative Societies are a fantastic thing if you consider how the collective can gain momentum to get things done. I tried to form a Co-operative many years ago but the collective body couldn't agree on anything. Nice nostalgic picturehere also.
